I figured, since they were related, that I could post both of my characters here. If not, I can create another thread for Lucius. c:
(optional)
Name:
Lois
Gender:
Doe
Species:
Whitetail Deer
Age:
Nearly two months
Appearance:
Rusty, ginger-brown in color. She has dark eyes, outlined with a soft, cream-colored white that matches the bib along her neck, underbelly, rump, and several fawn spots over her body. The tips of her ears are black.
Personality:
She's quite stubborn at first, and seems to be the more dominant of the two. (The rest will be played out.)
History:
Despite being born after her brother, Lucius, Lois assumes the more dominant sibling role. Shortly after their birth, their mother made her promise to always look out for Lucius, as she could sense something was off about him neither of them could understand. For nearly two months, she and Lucius grew and explored every inch their bedding site had to give them. Then one day, their mother did not return to their bedding site. Lois insisted the two stay back and wait for her, since their mother would often leave them alone to browse in peace. But Lucius was determined to go looking for her anyway, and remembering her promise she'd made, Lois followed. The two fawns would soon learn their mother had been struck and killed by His thunderbeasts, and without her, their once promising futures became bleak. Lost of all hope, the two fawns settled down beside their fallen mother. Whatever happened while they were sleeping, they will probably never know. But the two woke up in this strange, unfamiliar forest, and have been wandering about ever since.
Other:
Despite referring towards her brother as a burden, she knows deep down that she cannot deny her needing him.

Name:
Lucius
Gender:
Buck
Species:
Whitetail Deer
Age:
Nearly two months
Appearance:
Much like his sister, he too is rusty, ginger-brown in color with dark eyes, a white bib, underbelly, rump, and fawn spots. However, unlike his sister, he is much paler, and doesn't have black rims on the tips of his ears. His tail is much more fluffier as well.
Personality:
I'd rather play him out as well, but I can say he's quite shy, especially compared to his sister. He doesn't say much, and when he does, it's complete nonsense no one can understand.
History:
Since birth, Lucius has always felt there was something missing from him, or an expectancy that he could never live up to. He'd often times notice other forest dwellers look at him suspiciously, or full of pity. Because of this, he tries not to be as noticeable, and often fell behind whenever it was time to trace trails throughout the forest. One afternoon, however, he couldn't help but notice their mother hadn't returned to their bedding site. A feeling of worry had come over him. He could sense something was wrong and he went out to find what it was. Tracing the forest trails they'd followed earlier today, the fawns came to a sudden stop upon finding their mother's lifeless body. Never before had he felt so vulnerable. He and his sister curled up beside their mother and went to sleep, waking up moments later in completely unfamiliar territory. Seeing there to be no other option, he follows his sister wherever she goes, knowing that their only hope of survival is to stick together.
Other:
From the beginning, Lucius always felt there was something setting him apart from his family, as well as the other forest animals, but he could never tell what it was. He's watched his sister's muzzle move, and can feel a vibration in his ears. But if he tries to mimic her, she looks at him first with befuddlement, then pity.
