This is a list of items and potions you can find or buy in The Forest. Reply to this thread if you've found an item please! Include the link to where the item was found.

Trading items and potions is allowed. Both members must reply here to do so.


Tainted Potion
Ultra Rare

Taste: Bitter
Texture: Thick substance
• For any brave enough to get down this potion, they will literally become one of the undead. Unable to die, unable to have offspring, and no longer needing to feed. Eventually after a few months, the user will very much look like a zombie. After a few years, only bones may remain. All senses stay acute.
• Undead characters still have their souls, but the soul is trapped in their dead bodies. As of yet, it is unknown if the effects of a tainted potion are reversible. It doesn't seem souls can leave their bodies either.


Immortality Potion
Rare
Non-buyable
Taste: no taste
Texture: Watery
• When the potion is drank, the user becomes immortal. Their aging stops, but they can still die from other causes such as drowning, being killed etc.
• When an immortal does die, its soul is brought back to the forest. Many souls take the shape or outline of their former body, though some just float around as swirling balls.


Love Potion

Taste: Sweet
Texture: Milky
• This potion allows two different species the ability to produce a single fertile offspring. Only one character has to drink the potion.


Power Potion
Uncommon

Taste: Tangy and sweet
Texture: Smooth
• Upon drinking this potion, the user gains a single physical, mental, or spiritual power of their choice. Appearances are known to change slightly for some powers.


Morph Potion
Uncommon
Buyable
Taste: Earthy
Texture: Slimey
• Drinking this potion allows your character to have a different animal or plant part on it. For example, a deer could have a lion's tail, a wolf could have an owl's head, or a bear could have small trees growing from its back.


Spotted Mushroom
Common
Buyable
Taste: Earthy
Texture: Smooth and tender
• After consuming this mushroom, the user's color changes to whatever is on its mind. A bird could end up being zebra colored if it's thinking of that!


Yellow Dandelion
Common
Buyable
Taste: Sweet and flowery
Texture: Soft
• Eating this flower allows a character to have any kind of horns or antlers on its head. For species that already have horns, they can change what type.


Blue Pepper
Common
Buyable
Taste: Crisp and cold
Texture: Crunchy
• A favorite among many forest creatures; one bite of this pepper will send a shiver up anyone's spine! After eating a blue pepper, an accessory of the user's choice will magically manifest itself unto them.
