Name: Boromir (BORE-OH-MERE, DUDES)
Gender: Male
Species: Arctic Wolf | Canis lupus arctos
Age: Four years
Appearance: Boromir has completely white fur—not cream of off-white, mind you, but a pure, untainted white like freshly fallen snow. There is not a speck of color in his coat, but it is possible it will gray when he gets older. He is about three feet at the shoulder and is four feet in length. His nose, claws, and paw pads are all charcoal black. His eyes, once a standard honey-hazel shade, have been altered into an icy, cold blue. Aside from his unusual eye color, he is a normal arctic wolf.
Personality: Wise. Above all else, Boromir is intelligent and thinks things through. He is very knowledgable about a great deal of things, things a normal wolf wouldn't have any business knowing. He knows a fair deal about humans, and a bit more about animals such as himself and those he hunts. He can also detect a lot about others just by the way they hold themselves or interact with him, and can predict what's going on in their lives to better understand them. He senses the mood and acts upon what he feels, which usually consists of him making inferences on others' and their beings. Aside from this, he is polite, kind, and a pleasant man to be around. Boromir refrains from anger or violence to fix problems, and would much rather talk it out or reason with others to settle things. In a nutshell, he's a wisecrack-y guy that can practically read people's minds. Yay.
History:
Pre-birth—
• Mother, Beatrice, is found in a near-death condition in the wild by humans and is taken into a wolf sanctuary in western Canada.
• She is restored to full health, and stays at the sanctuary for a few weeks.
• Beatrice meets many other wolves there, including her future mate, and she and her mate, Gideon, are adopted by a kind-hearted human who takes them into her home and wide range of land (at first she was only going to take Gideon, but upon seeing him growling at her for being separated from Beatrice, she went ahead and got both of them, HOW SWEET OF THAT LITTLE OLD LADY, AM I RIGHT?).
• The woman that adopted them, Magnolia, is a book fanatic, and often reads aloud to the two from her various books. At the time Beatrice was pregnant with pups, Magnolia read them Lord of the Rings, and a few names from it caught the mother-to-be's attention.
Birth and following—
• Born with three siblings: brother Thorin, sister Belladonna, and other brother Durin. All were named after fictitious characters of the book Beatrice so dearly loved to hear read to her.
• As they age, the four are told many stories from their parents, much of which are retold from Magnolia. Boromir takes these tales to heart, and learns a lot about a lot of things from his family and human friend.
• Eventually the time comes where Magnolia cannot take care of the wolf family, as her age is beginning to take a toll on her, so they are released into the wild.
• Eventually the siblings all go their separate ways from their parents, and leave to go live their own lives.
• Comes across the Forest, and had resided their ever since (like, he's been there for three years, which is most of his life).
Other: HE SOUNDS LIKE ELROND M'KAY. Has consumed one Magical Spotted Mushroom, and has altered eye color because of it. ALSO HE'S A COOL GUY, GUYS, SERIOUSLY. B)
