Name: Baylinx

Species: Margay
Age: 5
Nicknames: Milky, Linx, Carmel
Gender: Female
Species: Margay
Age: 5
Nicknames: Milky, Linx, Carmel
Appearance: Baylinx is on the larger range of her species, weighing in at about 8 lbs, and the size of the largest of house cats she is a sight to behold. Her fur is a medium length silky and soft. Her coloring is on the lighter brown side almost a smooth creamy Carmel, in contrast her spots and strips are stark black along with the markings on her face, ears and tail. Her belly though is a milky white and the markings that cover that area are more of a gray then anything. Baylinx also has some white markings on her face, chin, and two spots on the back of her ears. Some of her friends have come to call her Milky or Carmel because of such, but mainly they call her linx.
Even though she is fairly big, her stature is long languid and sinuous, giving her a very feminine presence, which she is not afraid to flaunt. One of her most alluring qualities she has are her eyes, a deep luminescent gold with flecks of brown, bronze and black. They hold a very entrancing quality about them that most of her pray cannot resist. Which makes it a tad easier to hunt, all-bet as long as she can catch their attention without scaring them away. Baylinx's eyes are not her only way of hunting, she is much like any other cat. Extra padded paws make for light stealthy movement through underbrush and in trees. She is a deft hunter equipped with the best nature can provide, though she is not perfect and like any hunter there are days when you win some and there are days when you loose some. Either way Baylinx tries her best to be the best she can be, and she revels in the opportunity to show off her talents.
Personality: Spunky, bubbly and upbeat Baylinx loves to be the light of the party. That doesn't mean she tries to take the spotlight from anyone she just tries to bring smiles to peoples faces. Glass half full is one of her other motto's, and she tries to implement it into everything she does. If it rains, she takes a bath, if sunny and hot she will be found lounging in the nooks of trees, curled up and fast asleep, so on and so forth.
Even with all her energy, just like any cat she loves sunbathing, and gets very temperamental when interrupted. All and all she tries to be a good person, though she has her moments of mischief making, and is not above playing a harmless trick or two. She also loves jokes, quotes and long stories, especially if its a really good one, her attention will be all yours. Most of the animals she has met have giggled at the sight of her total captivation on such matters.
Just like any imperfect creature she is susceptible to fiery mood swings. And woe to the one who gets on her nerves, for Baylinx will turn into a little fiery spitting hissing ball of fur, with no qualms about leaving marks on her tormentor. But other then that she is the most easy going friendly person you could ask for. Baylinx's loves to joke around, have fun and play games. She is always willing to make new friends no matter who you are or what you look like, all is the same in her eyes. Besides whats the point to making enemies when making friends is so much more rewarding.
History: Baylinx's entire life started the day she entered the forest at he age of 1. Before that she can't really remember much, only hazy shadows and corporeal figures dance at the edges of her memories. Sometimes she has dreams of far off places, filled with laughter and fond homey feelings, voices she cant quite place waver in and out. But as soon as she awakes they recede like fog on the water, making you wounder if they were every really there in the first place. Other then that her days in the forest are quiet and full of self started adventure, chasing butterflies and bugs, going on treasure hunts. Though she mostly ends up with nothing but shiny stones and empty bottles.
Most of the friends she makes are few and far between, some of them she meets for a day before they disappear back into the vast expanse of lush verdant forests. Some of them stay for a few days but eventually they go on their separate ways, even so she never feels alone for the forest is big and you never know who or what your going to bump into. Baylinx's motto is to never say good by, but only see you later, because who knows maybe someday you will.
Other: N/A for now
Side Notes: The Margay along with the Clouded Leopard are the only two species of cats that have wrist and ankle joints that can turn a full 180%, this helps them climb and hunt in the tall trees of the forests they live in. The Margay is also very ambidextrous and can hang from tree limbs by only one paw, be it the for paws or back paws, to add to that they can catch themselves with any of their four legs.... sorry I didn't add this in before but I did not know how to insert it into any of the sections that are provided.
