Quickly glancing everywhere, Aspen made sure that there were no other animals around the luscious meadow in which she desired to take presence in. She slowly crept out towards the fantastic grass that called her name, itching to take a large chomp at it. Aspen kept her ears high on alert, listening for every noise that was made as she continued out into the meadow. As Aspen reached the grass, she lowered her head and began to eat it. Every few seconds, she would bring her head up and gaze around her, all the while chewing her grass. Aspen loved her grass, she was in heaven.

Normally, Rottair wasn't the one that went around greeting those that occupied the forest, but he hadn't seen Estreya around for quite some time... It was unsettling. The Forest could not grow and flourish without his counterpart, who brought life, for his specialty, his power, was death. He grunted in annoyance, ears twitching as he padded through the trees. Hopefully, the deer would show up and give a valid reason as to why she was gone. Rottair would hate to have to do her job of greeting and conversing with the inhabitants of their magical home... No matter, Rottair was on his way to chat with a doe, her name Aspen. They had never met before but as one of the gods of the forest, Rottair knew everyone. Or at least knew their names. Chuckling quietly, the massive lupine broke free of the shadows, seeming to form out of nowhere before the vixen. "Enjoying your meal?" he yapped wolfishly, grinning, his large body looming over her's.
