Hey guys. Writing this from my iPad. :P just an update. I can come on here but as far as role playing and being an actual admin this thing severely limits me.
Anyways, I was wondering what brand name laptops you guys use because if I'm able to I will buy a new laptop. I currently have my broken dell and I never want a dell again because right now something is wrong with the hard drive we think, and the battery charger broke in like 6 months. This laptop is almost a year old and already things are breaking soooo, I don't want a dell. xP
If you guys have suggestions on nice laptops that don't break so fast let me know, haha! I was thinking toshiba or Sony.

Sony is good, anything starting with an S is generally good.

Fun fact: I use my iPod Touch for pretty much all my roleplaying and Internet searching! It's a bit frustrating at times, but I've been at this for a year now since my access to the computer is limited. I guess it's easier for me to go at this and do what I do since I've been doing it a while—using it for this post, actually, and everything I've done on The Forest as of now—but I would think it isn't much different than an iPad, right? Posting in tables isn't particularly hard—though replacing posts that weren't in tables and inserting them into tables is proving to be, haha—and it can be done! If I can do it, I know you can. :3
However, obviously, an iPod nor an iPad can help with the more important issue: the fact that you have to maintain the site isn't possible through either of those devices, I would say. So yeah, your iPad is just an alternative if you need to roleplay and not do any graphics or anything. My suggestion is to save some actual computer/laptop time you get to tweaking the site or making graphics or anything like that.
Okay, so! Suggestions for a laptop. I'm siding with Andy on this one; things starting with S are good. Personally the one at my house is a Dell, and I've had it for a while, but hey, I dunno. I have a friend that had an Apple laptop, or I guess it's called a Mac? It was pretty cool, though they tell me that it's falling apart now. Hmm, last I saw it was a year ago, sooo... Yeah, a Sony would be good. Toshiba, too, might be worth the money.
So, yeah! I kind of babbled a lot on this, tl;dr summary is that with a bit of practice you can make use of your iPad and use it with posts when you can't use a computer. And Sony should be good. I hope you can find a new laptop! Good luck! <3

And wow Spacey! I'll see if I can manage to post around here. I just figured out how to manage the affiliates so that's a step up (:
I researched online for good computers and Lenovo and toshiba are the two prominent brands being spoken for. I'm hesitant to try out Lenovo as I've never used that brand, but I'm thinking about it from all the good reviews I've seen. Just a matter of saving the money for it now lol
