Meet the Cast!

Hello and welcome to the Chimera Session #1! I have no idea, nor do I have any intentions of creating more of these, but I've numbered this one just in case. In this thread, you shall learn a bit about myself and my roleplaying career, and some interesting things about my characters that are already part of the site, and characters that I will be introducing to the site shortly. So, without further ado, I present to you the Chimera Hunt-- Meet the Cast!

A bit about the Chimera to start off. I have been roleplaying since my summer vacation in 2004. Yes, I was 9 years old, posting online with random people about horses eating grass and running around chasing each other. My posts were less than 5 sentences each, and when I look back at it, I quite literally cringe. But now that I’m 17, I’m glad and impressed about how far I’ve come, and I’m still growing and learning as a role player. I consider myself moderate to advanced when it comes to roleplaying, but that’s because I’ve been around for 9 years. I have experience as a Role-player, Admin, Co-Admin, Activity Moderator, Role-play Teacher, New Member Committee Member, Board Moderator, Graphic Moderator, Mother Nature, and more! I’ve been around on sites for so long, and I’ve helped aid them in organizing and polishing sites that I’m always either appointed Co-Admin or a Moderator. So I apologize if I seem a bit full of myself, I can’t help it =P I’m spoiled. So far, I’ve role-played Horses, Wolves, Foxes, Demons, Humans, Vampires, Moose, Ermines, and Cheetahs.

I love sites like The Forest because there are such a large variety of animals to choose from, so any character I have I’ll try to make them something that they haven’t been before. I’m a lover, not a fighter, but I won’t hesitate to snap at someone if they’re lipping off to someone they should be respecting. I’m a natural leader, and am always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone! I often make Role-Play Guides and Tutorials in my spare time, which led me into a Teaching position on one of my sites (I helped new members by giving them tutorials and learning sessions on how to create believable characters and posts). If anyone needs help on this site, please don’t hesitate to ask! I love helping out =)

Now that I'm done rambling about myself, I'd love to introduce you to my characters who have a history for themselves. I'll start off with the ones that you may already know.

Kynn

Birthday – November 4th, 2012 to present

Kynn was not a wolf originally. He was a character of mine on a site called Conflicting Rivals, which was a Dog vs Cat RPG. In fact, Kynn is my first domestic animal character that I had ever created. He started out as a King Shepherd, and yes, his personality was still the same. The slow, lazy, big-teddy-bear kind of guy is who he is, and who he shall stay. While he hasn't been around too long, I love him to bits and am very eager to see him grow and expand as a character and as a wolf!

Rihtiel

Birthday - June 25th, 2011 to present

Rihtiel, my beloved blind fox, started out as a Red Fox back in 2011 on a site called Shadows. It was a fantasy site, so Rih had the ability to manifest fire. After the site went down, I moved him to a new site called The Cimarron Hearts. And there, he was turned into a Grey Andalusian Stallion with the show name, Boston Perfexion. He didn’t like being a horse; let me tell you, haha. He was put away in storage until I came across an African Predator site called Kimbia. I thought Rih would enjoy it there, so I changed him into a Cheetah. That was the first time I had ever role played a feline(aside from Kih), and I was bummed to never have him accepted. I then joined Conflicting Rivals and added Rihtiel as a fox on that site as well, but became inactive due to a move, and he went into the archives along with Kynn. So, back into Storage Rih went until now, where he has been reunited with his fox body. His personality has never changed, and neither has his visual impairment. Rih is the first character I had ever designed that had a character flaw, and it’s because of him I stopped making Mary-sue characters. I love his guy to pieces, and I’m very excited to have him back as a fox!

Toruuq

Birthday – February 24th, 2013 to present

Make way for this lumbering giant! Born on this very site, Toruuq is the first moose character I’ve ever created. In fact, he is the first moose that has ever made its way into my literature, so I’m very eager to get started with him! I just met him, and I don’t know much about him, but I’m very pleased to have him as part of my roleplaying family. I don’t think him and Kihlan would get along too well. Haha!

Kihlan

Birthday – November 13th, 2011 to present

Oh goodness, get ready to meet the definition of sarcasm! Kih has to be one of my favorite characters, because he always has something hilarious to say. He tends to irritate me as well as others, since he’s the kind of guy that always has to have the last word. Kih made his first appearance on a site called Spectrum. He was a white wolf, with blue eyes, a set of wings, and the ability to control the wind. He’s a very humorous, laid back guy that rarely uses names. Instead, he comes up with annoying nicknames for everyone. If any of my characters could be siblings, Kynn and Kihlan would make the perfect brother duo. I had changed Kih into a Cheetah for a site called Kimbia, and the poor guy got bullied by two lions in his first thread. He tried to tuck tail and run, but just ended up cursing up a storm to protect his dignity. I love this boy, and am very excited to get him started here! Now I just have to figure out what animal to change him into…

Koa

Birthday – June 17th, 2011 to November 6th, 2011

While I don’t have any plans on brining Koa to the site anytime soon, I’d love for you all to meet him because he has a big impact on my characters. He is the first wolf I had ever created on the site called Shadows. Him and Rih were my first characters that were not horses, and so I thought it was good to mention him here. He undoubtedly, has one of the most unique histories out of all of my characters, and the second saddest one. If I bring him here, you’ll all be able to read it. Anyway, Koa was born on Shadows as a white wolf with the ability to control the earth. The site went down and he was put away for a while until Spectrum came around. He was the first wolf I had on that site, Kih was second, and he definitely had some fun there. The Forest is mainly centered on deer, and so I’m trying to tear myself away from canines and felines, which is the reason Koa will be staying in Storage for now. That is unless I decide to turn him into an Elk… To those who know his history, you’ll realize how unbelievably ironic that is!

Nyela

Birthday – Summer of 2004 to 2007

I just had to insert here, Nyela is what started it all. She was the very first role play character I had ever created, on a site called Divine Equines of Epona. She was a palomino quarter horse, and she fell in love with a Force Breeder/Rebel quarter horse named Hunter. Those two had a better love story than Twilight, no joke. I have no intentions on ever recreating her as a character for anything, but I have to give her credit for getting me on my feet. DEOE was spammed with horrendous things and the site was shut down immediately. It was not recreated, and so Nyela died along with it. I love her for being my first character, but I’m at peace with letting her go.

Adarth

Birthday – July 19th, 2009 to September 1st, 2012

He is absolutely my favorite character to ever have existed! He is my baby, my cherished character that I am sad to part with, but I know it must happen. He is the sole character that has helped me better myself at roleplaying, and the only character that has really made an impact on me individually. While I won’t go into personal details, I will say that he is my most famous character. So famous in fact, the admin of the site he was born on had him photo-shopped into the site banner. He is part of that sites history, because he made the biggest impact on their world that they had ever seen. Born on Horse Mountain, he started out as a Friesian/Clydesdale Force Breeder/Rebel. He took what he wanted, did what he wanted, and killed whoever got in his way. Actually, I’ve lost count how many character’s and non-playable horses he’s killed. He was a murderer, with some serious social issues. After Horse Mountain died, I changed him into a wolf for a love plot on Spectrum, but shortly after, realized that it simply wasn’t him. He wasn’t himself anymore, and I realize without Horse Mountain, he cannot be himself. I love him and am very sad to tuck him away into my memories, but I will never forget he shaped me into the role-player I am today.

So there you have it! This is not nearly as many characters as I have in storage, I’ve actually lost count. I’m sure I could give you a number if I sat down and thought about it, but I don’t have the patience right now haha. Thanks for reading, and if you have any questions feel free to pm me! =P Oh!
